Kalachakra mandala by a Japanese thangka artist, Babasaki Kenji. Went to the opening of his exhibition yesterday and was really happy to be able to talk to him. Babasaki-san spent about 30 years living in Dharamsala and came back three years ago. He also presented a thangka to His Holiness, the Dalai Lama on his 60th birthday.
I asked if he’s dreamt of any of the Buddhas, but he said he’d only dreamt of the Dalai Lama :)
